All of our trainers are certified and bring decades of experience working with athletes. We all understand that no two athletes are alike and will work with you to reach your goals through proper programming backed by our extensive knowledge in anatomy, physiology, and nutrition.
Owner/Head Strength Coach
Toby is an ISSA-certified Fitness Trainer, Specializing in Strength and Conditioning, Youth Fitness Training, and Sports Nutrition. She has a degree in Education with a minor in Science and Exercise Science. Toby has training high performance athletes for over 7 years and created individualized programs for athletes involved in many different sports and activities including, but not limited to: hockey, basketball, football, track, skiing, golf, baseball, softball, volleyball, and even those athletes in the "athletes for life" category. She has been involved in sports and training for over 20 years as a coach, trainer, and athlete.
Owner/Head On-Ice Instructor
Travis grew up in Paradise Hill, SK and had a record-breaking Junior-A career with the North Battleford Stars (SJHL). Travis then spent 14 years playing professional hockey in the Central Hockey League in the United States where he spent 11 seasons with the Wichita Thunder and 3 seasons with the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. Travis was also called up to the AHL and IHL where he played for the Kansas City Blades and the Detroit Vipers. During his last professional season, Travis was a member of the CHL President’s Cup Championship team. Since retiring from his playing career, Travis has shared his love of the game through coaching. He has coached at the AAA Bantam, AAA Midget, and Jr A level. He also works as a Power Edge Pro Level 3 Instructor.
Larissa is a CSEP-Certified Exercise Physiologist who joined the Clayton Conditioning team of coaches in 2018. She is a graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with a Degree of Science in Kinesiology and carries her Level 1 in Fascial Stretch Therapy. Larissa recently obtained her Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certificate to help serve our athletes by providing nutritional guidance to meet their needs and fuel their performance. Larissa has worked as a trainer for hockey teams for the past 5 seasons, from the Bantam AAA level up to elite University teams.
Growing up playing hockey, and now continuing being an athlete in Crossfit, she brings a variety of knowledge and understanding to our athletes. Larissa has also gained extended knowledge by working in both a rehab facility and health care profession, providing care to chronic diseases and injuries. She plans to continue to grow her education in nutrition to help better our athletes needs and performance.
